for The Horder Centre

The Horder Centre, our orthopaedic hospital is located in Crowborough, East Sussex and we also have several outreach centres situated throughout the south east of England including Tunbridge Wells, Eastbourne and Seaford. Our diagnostic services are mainly provided by Medical Imaging Partnership (MIP) Ltd giving The Horder Centre, GPs and patients the highest quality clinical service.

MIP work with the Oxford Musculoskeletal Radiology (OMR) group of consultant radiologists who provide specialist expert reporting across all modalities and perform the ultrasound procedures. Private patients can access a walk-in service for X-ray with MRI and ultrasound being available within 2-4 working days. Services can be accessed via medical insurance and we offer a competitive self-pay price. MIP accept NHS direct access GP referrals for MRI and DXA under Any Qualified Provider (AQP) procurements and offer short waiting times for appointments.

MRI is available at The Horder Centre in Crowborough and our clinic in

Eastbourne for:

• ENT
• Musculoskeletal system
• Pelvis
• Spinal cord
• Joint arthrograms

Ultrasound is available at The Horder Centre in Crowborough for:

• General abdominal
• MSK
• DVT
• Guided injections

X-ray is available at The Horder Centre in Crowborough and our clinic in Seaford.

A walk-in routine X-ray service and DXA is available at The Horder Centre.

For surgery, we are able to treat patients who are 18 years of age or older.

For Physiotherapy, we are able to treat both adult and child private patients and

NHS patients age 18 and above. Should any clarification be required on the above categories, you can discuss this further with our Hospital Manager.
