“Gave me my life back!”

Patient feedback posted via nhs.uk

I had a hip replacement on the 23rd May 2019 and the surgeon was excellent. I was really suffering before the operation, but he gave me my life back! A very professional surgeon but gave his time to talk to me. Yes, I have pain still but that will go and without the operation, it would have got worse. And may I say the physiotherapist was excellent, nothing was too much trouble!

I tell everyone I speak to who say ‘How are you?’ and off I go talking about how good The Horder Centre really is. I am so pleased my friends told me about Horder and this surgeon, I wouldn’t have had anyone else to do this surgery. I have now got to be patient with my exercises that the physiotherapist has given me and she always showed me and took so much interest in my situation being a carer.

I just had to say a Big Thank You to all who helped me to get on the road to recovery and that’s the very friendly transport who got me to Horder & back, because I could not get there myself, and big thank you for all the nurses who made sure I wasn’t in pain, and the kitchen staff all so friendly nothing was too much trouble

A big well done! Carry on with the wonderful work you do at The Horder Centre.
