Through mindful movement and stability-focused exercises, Horder BALANCE helps you build confidence, improve posture, and move with ease.

About this class

A slow flow, stability-focused session designed to help you reconnect with your body’s centre.

Through controlled mobility exercises, core strengthening sequences, and mindful posture work, this class supports improved coordination, reduced tension, and enhanced overall body awareness. The programme we use has been proven in studies to reduce the likelihood of falls in the older population.

Each week (eight-week timetable) the class structure is different to provide variety for both the body and mind.

The benefits of physical exercise

Regular physical activity for older adults supports heart health, bone strength, joint mobility, and muscle power. It also improves sleep, mood, cognitive function, and overall confidence.

Exercise can reduce anxiety, ease depressive symptoms, and help overcome fear of movement. Research shows it can slow and sometimes reverse the effects of ageing.

How to book a class in 3 simple steps

You must book your classes online up to 1 week in advance.

Please note that before joining your first exercise class you will be required to fill out a short medical questionnaire on the booking platform.
