Pea and Bacon Pasta (Gluten Free)

This pasta is quick and easy to make and low in fat. We used shop bought gluten free pasta but it is also great with regular pasta.

Prep and cook time: 10-15mins


180g gluten free pasta
100g frozen peas
100g unsmoked bacon, fat trimmed, diced
3 heaped tablespoons low fat creme fraiche
Olive oil spray
10 cherry tomatoes, halved
4 spring onions


1. Cook the pasta as per the packets instructions
2. In a non-stick pan sprayed with olive oil, cook the bacon until cooked through
3. Add the peas, tomatoes, spring onions and ladle 100ml of the pasta cooking water or vegetable stock, continue to heat for 3-4 min.
4. Remove from the heat and stir in the crème fraiche and pasta and mix well.
