NHS physiotherapy
We offer NHS physiotherapy to patients registered within East Sussex. Please ask your GP if it is possible to be referred.
For NHS physiotherapy, we are able to treat patients aged 18 and above.
After being referred or self-referring for physiotherapy, we will contact you to offer an appointment. This can be rescheduled to a more convenient date, time, and location by calling our Bookings team on 01892 601466.

What to expect from your first physiotherapy appointment
Your initial appointment will take up to 45 minutes, with subsequent appointments lasting up to 30 minutes. For your first appointment, please arrive 10 minutes early to complete a health questionnaire so we can provide treatment tailored to your needs.
The Physiotherapy department undertakes clinical student placements, therefore, you may be asked if you would mind being assessed and treated by a student who will be working under the supervision of a qualified Physiotherapist.
Assessment
Our Physiotherapist will assess your past medical history, current symptoms, and its impact on you to help diagnose the root cause.
Treatment
Depending on the outcome of your assessment, a personalised treatment plan will be created and treatment will begin if appropriate.
Home Management
We will provide advice on managing your condition at home, including activity modifications, posture correction, and pain management techniques.
Research
You may be asked to take part in research projects the Physiotherapy team are conducting. If interested, you will be asked questions or to do things specific to that project.
